New version, new features: SPHERON-VR AG is pleased to announce its new software release SceneCenter® Forensic v1.1

Waldfischbach-Burgalben – Just one year ago, SPHERON-VR succeeded with its first release of the SceneWorks Solution, tailored to the area of crime scene documentation. This year, the company comes up with the first software update for SceneCenter Forensic , providing new features and functionalities.

  • SceneWorks - To access a scene as “being on site”
    The SceneWorks solution supports the complete workflow of visual scene documentation – from scene to court:
  • SceneCam Solution:
    The camera system to capture a complete overview image of the scene – full spherical (360°x180°), with highest resolution, in various levels of light (high dynamic range) and integrated 3D-measurement functionality.
  • SceneCenter Forensic:
    The comprehensive database solution to manage, document and present a crime scene. The information is collected and connected to the full spherical image – empowering objectivity, accuracy and efficiency by Visual Asset Management.
  • SceneCase:
    The intuitive and interactive medium to report and present the recorded data - “as being on site”.

What’s new – an overview
The SceneCenter Forensic v1.1 release adds new facilitating features to last year’s version and addresses a number of customer requests.
New features include the option for direct printing of full spherical images, a solution to archive and de-archive complete cases, dedicated support for audio files and Apple QuickTime™ videos and full support for Microsoft Windows Vista™, just to name some.

SceneCenter Forensic v1.1 is officially released and available by today.
